Glass vs InnoNeon - Can you explain more?

InnoNeon is a brand-new innovation created from a combination of eco-friendly LEDs and state-of-the-art polymers that delivers the look of traditional glass neon but without all the downsides. InnoNeon is not only far more efficient than traditional glass neon, but also brighter, cleaner-looking and doesn’t hum like a camp light. We have two types of InnoNeon, one made from neon flex encased in a precision-extruded PVC or silicon jacket and the other made from solid acrylic sheet, CNC machined to the exact shape required and then polished like glass or etched to a matte finish. Both are highly energy efficient with a low operating temperature, saving both fuel and reducing air conditioning bills, too. Also, unlike traditional glass neons they are extremely safe and long-lasting. Innoneon is also dimmable, colour changeable and animatable as well as easily mounted to all types of substrates.

Do you produce custom- designed signs?

Yes. Virtually every sign produced by us is manufactured by hand to our customers’ artwork or sketches. As well as offering faux-neon we also fabricate all types of signs using acrylic (CNC machined, laser cut, polished, painted, sand-blasted etc., etc.) metal (plated, coated, brushed or sprayed) wood etc., etc. If a sign can be made from a material, we have the expertise to turn your creative vision into stunning signage, quickly and easily

Can I dim or reduce the brightness of my sign?

​Yes. All our LED neon and cut/assembled acrylic, wood and metal LED signs can be reduced in brightness using a choice of dimming solutions. At its simplest this is achieved by fitting a suitable dimmer in line with the 12V DC supply, which we also sell as an optional dimmer component. This simply plugs or connects in line with the low voltage power cable, negating the need for specialist installation. Remote control dimmers are also available as an option. We are also able to dim via more complex dimming protocols such as DALI and DMX. To dim your signage using a mains voltage dimmer please specify this on your order.

Can my LED neon sign flash or animate?

Yes, if you have a creative idea that requires your sign elements to flash or animate, we have the expertise to provide the required control units and programming expertise. RGBW (Red Green Blue White full colour mixing) can also add an extra dimension to your lighting or signage designs.

Can my LED neon sign change colour?

Yes, we can make most signs with RGB LEDs inside which allow complete colour changing and a variety of control or animation options.
Most of the signs we produce use a static colour. For our InnoNeon Flex have 18 colour choices in total, plus RGB (infinite colour mixing, static or colour changing). Other sign types are available in a wide choice of colours, simply specify your requirements using a standard such a Pantone and we'll do our best to colour match.

Can I switch my neon on and off from a light switch?

Yes. A qualified electrician can install this way, following your country’s local electrical regulations or code.

What colour neon or LED signs are available?

Our InnoNeon lights and signs are available in a wide range of 18 colours. For a high-volume order even more colours are possible, or we can use RGB to mix your exact colour.
Some InnoNeon Flex colours are white when powered off, others have a distinctive colour moulded into the neon polymer, so a strong colour (for instance red, blue or yellow) remains even when the sign is switched off.

Compliance and Environment

Do your lights comply with safety and environmental regulations?

​All our LED signs comply with applicable European, USA and Canadian safety, environmental and EMC regulations.
For all deliveries to the EU, all the signs we produce adhere to IEC 60598-1, the international standard for lamps and luminaires up to 1,000V. These are marked with the necessary CE mark and a certificate of compliance is available on request.
All signs made for and shipped to the USA and Canada are made to CPSC electrical safety standards.
Our self-install LED neon signs come complete with a multi-voltage 100-250V switching power supply (normally similar in style to the type provided with a laptop computer) and in most cases a power cable terminated with your chosen mains plug type.  Larger sign types are supplied with terminations and/or cable ready for installation by a qualified professional. Should you have specific requirements, please specify them on your order.

What voltage are your signs?

All our signs are powered by a low voltage, typically 5V, 12V or 24V and an appropriate safety-approved mains transformer is supplied with each sign to provide the required low voltage power.

Can I use my LED neon outside in hot/cold or wet/humid location?

Yes, for sure we can provide signs and power supplies for external or internal use in challenging conditions. Please specify your requirement when you request a quote and we will price and manufacture accordingly.
All our signs are powered by a low voltage, typically 5V, 12V or 24V and an appropriate safety-approved mains (110V / 220-240V AC) transformer is supplied with each sign to provide this power.

Is LED neon fragile?

​Not really, one of the advantages of our LED neon signs is that they are made from specially developed polymers that are highly resistant to breakage during transportation and installation as well as over the product’s life.
In contrast, traditional glass neon lights are made using glass tubing which makes them very fragile.

Installation

How do I hang or mount my neon sign or LED signage?

For InnoNeon, hanging and mounting options are offered in the ordering process. If required, each sign can be supplied with two or more pre-drilled holes in the acrylic or other backing, so it can easily be hung on any wall with two screws or nails. Stand-off mounting options are also available which are especially appropriate for cut or built-up letter signs.

Can I fix my neon sign directly on to a wall or any substrate?

Yes. Every sign comes with a variety of mounting options for easy installation.

Does my sign require specialist installation?

Our InnoNeon LED neon is normally supplied “plug and play” so any non-qualified person can simply plug in the supplied power supply to any mains socket and have your sign ready to mount/hang and use within minutes.
Our other non-neon illuminated, and non-illuminated signage and built-up sign letters are supplied complete with all the parts and fitting template required for a competent electrician or fitterto install (subject to local regulations that may apply – please check).

Do you provide an installation service?

We are a specialist supply-only manufacturer servicing the signage, events, visual merchandising and retail interiors trade.
Our LED neon is normally supplied “plug and play” so any non-qualified person can simply plug in the supplied power supply to any mains socket and have your sign ready to use within minutes.
Our LED illuminated, and non-illuminated signage and built-up sign letters are supplied complete with all the parts and fitting template required for a competent electrician or handyman to install (subject to local regulations that may apply – please check).

Do I need a fireman's switch for LED neon?

​No. Our LED neon does away with this cost and complexity and simply requires a standard mains power supply (switched with a standard light switch).  This connects to a 12V or 24V power supply that is provided with you sign, to provide the correct voltage to your sign.

Orders and Delivery

Which methods of payment do you accept?

Our standard payment method is bank transfer, however we are also happy to accept payment by Visa, MasterCard or Paypal subject to a small surcharge to cover our extra cost incurred. For established customers we may be able to provide a monthly account facility, subject to credit referencing.

Do you deliver to my country?

Yes - we ship Worldwide. We also provide local sales, technical and after-sales service support in English.
Don’t worry if we are not “local” to you, we are confident that our operational efficiency and fast logistics allow us to deliver faster, better and at lower cost than almost all “local” suppliers you may have previously used.
Based in the EU?  If you are, we normally ship by TNT, UPS,  Fedex or DHL from our base just outside London.
​VAT-registered EU customers located outside the UK are not charged VAT under intra-EU VAT rules.  UK customers are charged UK VAT and receive a VAT invoice.
Based in the USA? We deliver to you by DHL or Fedex with all taxes pre-paid by us, so there are no additional charges.
Based in Australia? We deliver to you by DHL or Fedex with all taxes pre-paid by us, so there are no additional charges.

Do your prices include Duty, Taxes, etc... ?

​Yes, to most countries, you don’t need to worry about any extra charges…

How fast do you deliver?

Our standard express delivery lead-time is 12 working days to most countries in Europe, Asia, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, including express courier delivery to your door.  We also offer a Super-Express service which can reduce lead-time to as little as 5 working days (including delivery) depending on sign complexity and your location.

Tracking your order

Once your purchase has been completed, a confirmation will be sent to you by email. An email will also be sent to you once your order has shipped and a courier tracking number can also be provided if required. If you've created an account, you may also log in to your account, where you can view your tracking number and other order details.

How much does shipping cost?

​Our combined product and shipping costs are highly competitive. We have negotiated contracts with DHL, Fedex, UPS and TNT to ensure delivery costs are kept as low as possible.
Shipping costs are provided with every quotation and economy options are usually available if you are not in a hurry.

Do you give a large volume discount?

​Yes. We give generous discounts if you can order quantity of signs.

Do you sell to the public?

No.  We are a specialist supply-only trade-only manufacturer servicing business in the signage, events, visual merchandising and retail interiors trade. We are able to service a small order from a small business to a large multi-national who requires 1000 units delivered to 1000 global locations.

Orders and Delivery

How long do your LED neon and signs last?

Our signage is designed and manufactured to last for many years, even outside if it is specified at time of order to do so. Every item we produce comes with a 3-year return-to-base warranty. If a longer warranty is required, please state your requirements when you request a quote.

Do you provide a repair service?

Yes. If you have bought your sign from us our technicians are able to provide a full repair or replacement service should you encounter any problem.

How do I clean my sign?

Internal signs: If you want to dust or clean your sign, always be sure to unplug or switch it off first. Then, use a duster brush or soft, damp or dry cloth to remove any dirt or dust. Don’t use an abrasive, solvent-based or wet liquid cleaner or spray to clean your sign.
External signs: Use any non-abrasive, non-solvent-based cleaner to clean your sign.

Returns Policy: Custom-made items

Before dispatch, all signs are tested to ensure their quality meets our standard and they are fit for purpose. We pack every sign appropriately for courier delivery.
For non-UK customers and trade customers in the UK we pride ourselves in the quality of our signs and the after-service we provide. We are here for the long-term, so you come back for more.
Should you encounter a fault, we will be happy to repair your sign free of charge or, at our discretion, replace it provided that you report the fault within 3 years of purchase. If we are unable to repair or replace the item(s) we will provide you with a full refund instead.
As signs are custom-made to order we are unfortunately unable to accept returns or refund if you change your mind after ordering.

My sign has arrived broken, what do I do?

​We endeavour to pack all signs comprehensively, and as a result breakages or faults are extremely rare, however sometimes accidents happen. Should your sign arrive broken please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Please take pictures of the damaged sign in the packaging, showing in detail the broken parts, and attach images to your email. If the box that the sign came is also damaged, please take photos of that too.
